Iv heard a sound just like the red fox yell and the animal was a white dog like figure can anone help find out what it was? Also I hunt and my dads been hunting on this land for 15 years and almost never not seen a deer for 2 years now for rifle hunting we havent seen or heard a thing.

They are always seen a little ways into the woods and in the field but now there all gone what should I do? Did they move into the woods farther back or did they move into the swamp in the back HELP! Last Insted of buying calls im putting them on my ipod does anyone know where I can get very accurate deer calls not videos just sounds?
HURRY AND HELP DONT HAVE MUCH TIME!!!. Years ago I was calling for my cat to come in. It was just after 1am. I was doing the kitty call. After each kitty call, I waited to see if she was coming. We lived close to some woods, and after the second time of calling the cat, a sound came from the woods that made my hair stand up.
After each time I did the kitty call, the sound would come from the woods. The only way I can describe it, is, It started at a low tone and gradually went to a higher tone. Does anyone have any idea what it could have been? Sure would like to know after all these yrs. I just heard sounds in the back (I live in a small subdivision – in a cul de sac – with a private air strip off to the side) in the NW Houston area. No clue what it was, but scared the krap out of me. Over the years I’ve heard a number of different animal sounds (coyote, rabbits and squirrels in distress, deer, etc.) but this wasn’t anything like those.
I also heard a Great Horned Owl a couple of times after hearing the scary sounds. I THINK what I might have heard was a young GHO except the sounds I was hearing weren’t as high-pitched as the sound byte on here. Might anyone know what was making the sounds?.
We live in rural Maine and often hear coyotes, owls, and other wild animals in the night. But last night I heard something I’ve never heard before, and thanks to this site I’ve figured out what it was. It’s mid-June and still cool at night but last night we had the windows open.

I was wakened out of a sound sleep by the weirdest, scariest animal cries. Made all my hair stand on end! It was a kind of screaming/screeching sound, like an animal in great distress, and went on for over a minute. After listening to the clips of the red fox yipping and the foxes fighting, I now know it was a red fox. Great sound clips!.
